Refund Policy

Clear, fair billing rules for FounderOS. Cancel any time. Real humans review every refund request.

1. Subscription Billing

FounderOS subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly, unless otherwise stated at checkout). Your card is charged automatically at the start of each billing period until you cancel.

All prices are listed in USD and exclude any applicable taxes, which may be added at checkout based on your jurisdiction.

Payments are processed by our PCI-compliant payment provider. We never store full card details on our servers.

2. Cancellation

You can cancel your subscription at any time from Settings → Subscription, or by emailing us. There are no cancellation fees and no questions asked.

Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You keep full access to paid features until that period ends, and you will not be charged again.

We do not automatically prorate or refund the unused portion of the current period when you cancel mid-cycle, except where required by law or covered by the eligibility rules below.

3. Refund Eligibility

We want FounderOS to genuinely earn your subscription. If something isn't working for you, reach out — we review every request fairly and respond within 2 business days.

You may be eligible for a full or partial refund if: (a) you were charged for a renewal you intended to cancel and contact us within 7 days of the charge, (b) the Service was materially unavailable due to a verified outage on our side, or (c) a refund is required by applicable consumer protection law in your jurisdiction.

Refunds are issued to the original payment method and typically appear within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer.

We reserve the right to decline refund requests in cases of suspected abuse, repeat refund cycles, or violation of our Terms of Service.

4. Duplicate or Incorrect Charges

If you see a duplicate charge, an unexpected amount, or a charge after you cancelled, contact us immediately and include the charge date, amount, and the email on your account.

Verified duplicate or erroneous charges are refunded in full to the original payment method, usually within 1–2 business days of confirmation.

Please contact us before initiating a chargeback — direct resolution is faster, avoids fees, and keeps your account in good standing.

5. Technical Issues

If a confirmed bug or service outage on our side prevented you from using a paid feature for an extended period, we will issue service credits or a prorated refund covering the affected time.

Issues caused by third-party providers, your local network, browser configuration, or downstream AI provider availability may not qualify, but we'll always investigate and do what's fair.

When reporting an issue, include a brief description, approximate time, and screenshots if possible. This helps us resolve it quickly.

6. Free Trials & Free Plan

If we offer a free trial, you will not be charged until the trial ends. You can cancel any time during the trial from Settings → Subscription with no charge.

Our Free plan is, and remains, free. Usage limits apply and are enforced fairly across all accounts.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notice and take effect on your next renewal.

Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
